What is the correct way to break in a subwoofer. Specifically the IDMAX 12. Is it a method in general or does each subwoofer have a special break in procedure?

mainly, its suggested you run your sub for a week or two at under 50% volume to break it in, dont just put it in the box and pound like mad...
