Anybody have a C12 Kicker Competition Gold 12" subwoofer (4 ohms) or a rebuild kit for this sub? Stillwater Designs (Kicker's manufacturer) wasn't any help. It's the old school sub from the early 90's with KICKER printed in gold on the dustcap. I need to replace my C12, but all the new replacement subs have a mounting depth that won't work in my application. The old C12 has a mounting depth of only 5", and all new 12" subs these days are at least 5.5". I don't have an extra half-inch of space to spare. Can anyone help?
Yeah, I checked all the on-line auctions I could think of. But nobody seems to be selling those really old Kickers lately. Hopefully I'll get lucky on one of these message boards.
