I purchased an Audiobahn Amp less than a month ago. After reading this forum i feel like a loser in the corner. I'm going to try and sell it. But, why be so harsh on audiobahn? and what kind of amp should i get for 2 12inch DVC kicker solo-barics?

S12L7s?
how many ohms per coil, and how many coils per sub? need the RMS power handling for them too.

audiobahn overrates their products horridly, and their build quality is very lacking.
Don't feel bad about it. You didn't know any better. At least you're learning.
Some people choose to stay ignorant.. Those are the worst.

Audiobahn also has very lousy business practices that force their retailers to shove their products down the throats of consumers to meet quotas to retain a license to sell their stuff.
"sell X amount of our cheap crap per month of we yank your right to sell our stuff in your area."

ok so a pair of 2 ohm (parallel coils) subs @ ~750w each.
depending on your budget..
look at two JBL BP600.1 amps
one per sub
that'd give a solid 600wRMS to each one.
other option is to find two mono amps rated for around 800wRMS each @ 2 ohms.
you won't find a lot of good stereo amps rated for that much power so your best bet is to go with a pair of mono amps, or a single 1 ohm stable mono amp.
the 1200.1 from JBL would work.. run @ 1 ohm
the Kicker 04SX1250.1 is a great choice too
as is the older 02KX1200.1
take a look at those if you have a little more to spend.
any of these should be under $500 total.
