Kappa Perfect 12/1d / BP 300.1

In a 2000 Integra, I currently have:

Pioneer DEH-MP4500 HU
Infinity Kappa 60.5CS fronts
Kappa 693.5i rears
US Acoustics 65w x 4ch amp

I want a sub. My musical tastes tend to be more punk/emo/alternative than anything else. I also listen to rock and rap.

I have 2 questions.

1- I can get a 150 amp alternatos for $250 locally, and get it installed for another $110. Are these reasonable prices? I've had a hard time finding them any cheaper.

2- I am considering the combo of a Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1d (DVC, 350w rms) and a JBL BP 300.1. That would be 300 to the Perfect at 2Ohms.

Would this combo be nice for my current set-up. I plan on keeping the car for a long time so i need to be happy with whatever i end up putting in the car. I don't mind paying for reliability and quality.

Thanks for the help

not too bad for the alternator.
may get it installed cheaper if ya look around or have any gear head friends. alternators are only tricky to install if they are hard to reach, which may be the case with the tight fit import engines.

nice sub and amp.
may want to look at the Adire Shiva 12" for ~$120, and the BP600.1 to drive it (~54A current draw @ 600wRMS @ 2 Ohms)
