i need some serious help. i got (1)1900 kole series, 540 mtx thunder, (2)aw1200t audiobahn-1100 rms inverted, (4) 6 1/2 component mb-quarts m series, (2) 6x9 mb-quart 2 way m series, pionner p7600mp, thinking of getting an epicenter audio control. i also wanna get a 540 to each coil on the at1206t's. put the amps on half. wanna get a hifonics for highs instead of the mtx. should i go ported box. i hate the subs inside out and inverted polarity. help plzzzzzzzzzz

Im guessing with 1200$, your could get 2 12'' brahmas, and a jl 1200.1, that would blow those audiobahns out the window....

pioneer, MB quart, MTX all good.
kole and audiobahn are junk.
I'd suggest getting some better made gear there instead of trying to compensate by using an audiocontrol epicenter.
that's my suggestion for what it's worth.

get a good pair of high excursion subs, and a good solid amp that delivers a lot of RMS power and you'll feel a much bigger difference.

thanx again glass--- i had heard the 1206t's gave cleaner bass than the l7's so i went ahead and got those. i mean i think i got them cheap, like 120 a piece. maybe i got ripped off, but i got the registration and everything is legit. i think for 120 dollar subs and 140 dolla amps theyre alright

for $120 you could get a 12" adire shiva.
excellent sub. needs about 300-500wRMS to get full performance.
worth a look anyway
www.adireaudio.com

a single 600-1000 watt RMS class D amp (mono) will drive two of those very well, and can be picked up for $300-400 for a very nice one

problem with those large subs is they're sloppy, and have low Xmax.
just lots of surface area and a low Fs

you'd be better off using the same airspace for multiple 12" or 15" subs.
