Wiring help

I have 2 Alpine type S. They are dual 4 ohm. I saw that there was a way to wire 1 sub to 2ohm for a 1 channel amp so If I have a 2 channel amp and 2 subs wired down to 2 ohms going into each channel would that be presenting a 2ohm load to the amp or is it a 4ohm load?

1 ohm or 4 ohm in mono with the two 4 ohm dvc's in case you need to know that

so If my amp puts out 300x2 RMS at 2ohm would it be putting out the full 300 watts?

yes but then you will need a coil to cross over the subwoofers at the right frequency so you dont damage the subs
