My friend got a cerwin vega amp from somebody and when you hook a speaker to it the speaker pops out and then it wants to hit with the music.the speakers sound like sh!t when hooked to it.What could be the problem?Thanks.
Well. It could be your speaks too. I'd think if an amp was fried it wouldn't really work at all? If your speakers are blown, I think they can still play some. Not sure though.
Well,we tried the amp on several different speakers and it did the same thing,but one time it started playing good and we messed with the buttons and the amp f*cked up again.
Well, if it did play good even once, then the amp might not be totally fried. I am thinking there might be a bad wire, or a loose wire, or something is screwed up, but not totally fried.
I just took the amp apart and one of the wires(looked more like a bar)was broke on the channel,but we never used that channel cause it didn't work.Could that be why it was poping the speaker out?
