Another sub question

here is my thought after looking at all things. I like the Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1d subs. they have the following specs:

dual 4-ohm voice coils
suitable for free-air use (handles up to 175 watts in free-air applications)
recommended power range 75-350 watts RMS (175 watts per coil)
peak power handling 1,400 watts
frequency response 18-200 Hz
sensitivity 96 dB
top mount depth 6-1/8"
sealed box volume: 1.0 cu. ft.
ported box volume: 1.75 cu. ft.

the box is from proboxrocks.com and holds 2 12" subs with airspace of .7 per sub. If I use those subs and put in about 1.5lbs of polly fill, will that work well for me or am I asking for trouble? How does this affect the power to the subs and if this all looks good, what type of amp should I use. I believe I have the option of wiring the subs together or single. I was thinking to wire them as thier own sub and use a 2 channel amp to power them, one sub per channel.
