The REM wire from an amp goes to the CD player there should be a blue wire on the back of the CD player with a lable on it saying Rem and that is were it goes if you do not have an amp and you want to know were the rem wire goes on your CD play well it goes nowere you just tape it off
also, many cd players "rem" wire stop working, in this case you must connect the remote wire from the amp up to the "red" (accessory) behind the cd player
