Wiring subs???????

What would be best, I have a kicker kx500.2 amp, and I want the best out of 2 12" subs, I was thinking either vmax, or kicker L5 Or L7's Now this amp puts out 500x1 at 4 ohms mono and 275x2 at 2 ohms stero. If I would hook up the subs as mono, how would I wire the speakers to the sub??? I am real new at this as you can tell Also would I want dvc 2 or 4 ohm, or maybe just single? Thanks!

Use a series/parallel and run them to the bridged channels of the amp.
