I've got an ipod on the way and would like to avoid the fm/casette route and go with a direct connection. My HU has no RCA inputs. I do however have an A/D/S crossover and amp that is fed with the high level speaker wires and was wondering if it's possible to connect the ipod directly to the crossover's low level inputs (RCA). If it is possible, then what would happen if the ipod is feeding the low level and the HU is feeding the high level at the same time...blown stereo?

Thanks for any info.

if you have kenwood, jvc, pioneer, or even a few others, there is an adapter plug for each that gives you direct aux inputs via the the cd changer port, i've hooked up quite a few ipods, very simple, the only other way besides "cassete" is through a fm modulator, these can be used on any car stereo including factory, they cost around $30
