Looking for an opinion on alpine subs. I was supposed to be getting to ten inch type A xtants but they are no longer producing the SVC version that I would need. so the shop I have been working with has offerend me the Type S woofers for the same price the xtants were being offered. The type S has more excursion which means more low end. How are these as far as distortion and SQ?
i wouldnt go with the type-s's, but if you're going to
they dont get extremely loud, they have ok SQ but not enough for my taste and they distort very easily under even slightly too much power than rated at
