Recone?

i have a 12" Mmats Juggernaut it was in perfect working condition and when i was swapping out subs one of my dumbass friends yanked on the tinsel leads and they came off at the former needless to say it dont work anymore is there any other way to fix it besides reconing it? the coil and just sub in general is perfect

i have heard of people repairing their leads themselves if they were damaged but i do not remember how it went for them. i would just go for the recone myself

i did a quick search and found this thread where a guy (from ID apparently) explains how to repair the leads.

I'd make your friend pay for the re-coning and send it back to MMATS for repair.. but that's me.

If he refuses, push him in front of a bus, but be polite and nice about it. Smile as you shove. :-)

Id also send it in for repair and have the friend pay for it
