I just got 2 12" aw122n. I figured there would be more low end than my 10"s. There is absolutely no low end on them. I gets highs very nicely but my 10" W0 got lows better. I think i am doing something wrong. there are also 4 positive and negative terminals on it and I am confused, Please help. Also its off a 1000watt Kenwood 8101D.

i take it these subs are D4 ohm so wire it up like this http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qt y=2&woofer_imp=4

and it could be the box

I have found out my ported box is tuned too high is there any way I can tune it lower without building a new one?

Matt, M.S. is a goof, dont mind him. my suggestion is to build a custom box. for what you want, a "Transmission Line" enclosure would be best, would definetly bring out the lows. heres an example

some guys here refer to it as a "snail shell" box.

Do you need to use transmission fluid on that enclosure?

thats probably a tad bit advanced for what he needs. a simple ported enclosure will do fine. if you ask nicely somebody on here probably wouldn't mind drawing you something up. granted you have basic wood working skill and access to tools you could build yourself a box, or pay somebody to do so. whatever you do, don't buy a prefab from wal-mart, etc.
