If anybody has a set of these 12" subs that Power Acoustik made a few years ago, i would sure like to take them off yoru hands for you. my competition car blew two subs out of 8 total, and rather than replace all 8, i would just liek to replace the two that are blown. used subs are fine as long as they are in good condition. thanks.

162.3 dB was my best, vehicle mostly unmodified for SPL competition, aside from the enclosures, baffling, and sound damping. there are two enclosures in the rear of the vehicle, each one has 4 subs, set up in a cross configuration, but tilted vertical, so it appears liek a cross, + , and each set of opposing subs are wired out of phase with the other. i compete in SPL, but the vehicle is mainly setup for SQ...

Pardon the lack of internet savy, but i am not familar with posting pictures, creating websites, etc, nor do i care to learn, im just not into the net that much. i am simply using this forum to try and help source 2 more Farenheit CK-12D subs

What do these subs look like?

If they where made by Power Acoustik, they are likely the exact same as a MOFO or other Power Acoustik sub w/ a different logo.

Oh, and a few more questions...

What amp or amps are you running?
What batts and how many are you running?
What size is your alternator?

yep, those are the subs. they are wired out of phase because they are in opposing pairs inside the enclosure.

anyways, cheapshots aside, if anybody has a pair or knows where to find some, i would greatly appreciate the leads. thanks.

lol, playing with some different setups. Been busy past while trying to get caught up on enclosures, 6 more to go by monday! lol. Working on a system to stay flat to around 16Hz for Sh*ts and giggles, a couple normal(subs ^ ports >) spl boxes and a T-Line. 2 Daily boxes etc etc. Which show you gonna debut at, I'm hoping to be there!

Chris Reedy, Mod 2 Black Celica. Paul was running his friend John's setup. Those 18's are junk for spl, the 18-A is a much better spl sub, but John(sound_around on caraudio.com and caraudioclassifieds.com) wanted to get an idea what they would do for his Astro install and paul didn't need points so oh well... If he's happy piddling with below a 151 its his buisness! lol. He's gonna try 2 DD 9518G's tomorrow and sunday for the NSPL show in Greenville (Sat) and Xstreme SPL in North Wilkesboro (Sun). They do hair tricks like no ones buisness but with 5K per they still don't beat the IA DP's. 154.x consistent with them, 153.7 w the DD's. 38Hz, pressure forms at 45Hz.

thanks for the leads on the ck-12D subs guys, it is much appreciated. I am looking forward to getting this show car back into competition. i will see if i can get a cameraman and a webpage designer to make a website that contains information about the car as soon as she's fully functional again.

For those interested in the design, i pretty much copied the design from the Power Acoustik showcar named "Old Yeller" that they made a number of years ago.

and to the guy who talks about Faggotry: I have been raving about the CK-12D subs ALOT longer than 2004, I've been using them since 2000 in competition, so if i am STILL singing their praises, there obviously must be something special about them. and yes, back in 2004, i had easy access to them, but not anymore since they are no longer manufactured.

One thing I must say about Power Craptastik is that I have a friend that has had his FUBARS for 6 years now and they're still going strong. If you take care of your things they'll last, sometimes... haha.
