OK...I have a couple subs that have been sitting around my room for a while. Both worked when I took them out of the car. Now, the cone is hard as a rock an will not move in and out. I assume they are blown, but I just find it weird that they can "blow" when they are not even installed?!?! Can anyone make any sense of this?

Sounds like they're done. Are both of them like this?

Do you have a mischievious younger brother?

lol yeah I do, but he just got a car a month ago so I don't think he did anything anyway, I assumed they were done (they're pretty worthless anyways) but is there anything I should take from them or do before they get tossed?

What kind of terminals do they have? Short of that, I would send them on to their next life.
