Hey guys, suggest me a 12" sub that will get louder than a L7,that needs <2.5^ft,and doesent need alot of power to get loud.

Yes,6.5^ft NET tuned to 35hz,im powering them off 1000wRMS. Needless to say...they get crazy loud :-)

the max i would want to run is ~3000wRMS,because i dont want to have to run dual alts and all that.

Maybe because it is a great product at a good price that is backed up by good people. The BTL would not really fit your needs now that I think about it.

But if you want a great priced driver that has good output (see 12" challenge) the Mach5Audio MAW-12 did well. Might not out do an L7 due to cone advantage, but still has potential for a lower power set up.

well wouldn't 3000wrms do well with a 5200? personally never used them. i met one guy that has the lower model and they sounded nice. has them in the back of a blazer or jimmy, ported and they got decently loud.

just b/c you buy one and everybody else has one doesn't make you a bandwagoner. they buy them for the price/performance ratio:-)

god the tcs look so awesome..especially the 3000. they do have weird impedences though, but i think they come out wiht whole number nominal impedences. thats what a guy from tc told me.

i need help too on what to get. they are going in a 74 nova with a ported box. running off a hifonics brutus 2000 watt mono. amp. 12 being the smallest and 15 being the biggest with most bass possible. i thought amybe TWO 12" L7'S OR TWO DA9015X'S. write back and let me know what you think. any suggestions. thanks.
