damn!!! I like, I want...I know the subs are reasonably priced, but I bet that Treo amp is expensive...what would be an inexpensive amp that might work as good? Great vid by the way, just wish they were in a car so we could see what they do installed.

wtf????^^^^^

the surround is wavy b/c the camera is shitty. not b/c the sub isn't performing as supposed to. LOL

there are a lot of Vids on ROE that have that....

What do you compare those Q's subs to ? I'm thinking of getting a single 18 sealed.

MUDDY, those subs are not as good as RE, yet, not the first models, they might be later but not yet, your backing them u but you dont know, i want 2 18s also but not of this model because something is going to go wrong and i think the surround and those spiders are gonna be first

b/c of a crappy video you saw on the internet in which the cameras recording rate couldn't keep up with the cycles of the sub?? Good Call:-)

the MK. 1....yes 1 that means the first production Brahma and MK.2 were the BEST ONES to date....what does that tell you??? subs aren't made like cars....they dont just whip up a batch and then fix all the things that sporadically go wrong with them and have constant Recalls...he builds a sub...tests the SH1T out of it...and if it doesn't work...he tries something else....when you get one that works.....you keep building it like that.

besides...these subs aren't Stamped out and waiting in a warehouse somewhere...they are hand built when you order, what more do you want? lol

Troy... lol... Not sure where to begin with that one. From your comments I am assuming that the current RE subs are OK though? I did design those as well... not too mention using the same cones and spiders that they are using. I have used the same bits and pieces on MANY different subs over the years because they are about as tried and true as they get. Oh... and I also built both the Mk1 and Mk2 Brahmas :-)
Not trying to be rude in any way shape or form... but I did find it kind of funny :-)

Very George Lucas like visual effects going on in that video. But I can assure you, things are acting MUCH more linear than that.

I probably have atleast 3 weeks as well before I'll have funds for it. I'm getting excited...

I do have a question though. do you think a subsonic filter would even be necessary for an ecnlosure tuned low enough, like 28Hz, as long as I'm not playing anything like 5Hz test tones?

just set it at around 25hz. it won't harm it and you are guaranteed that it won't play any lower than that.
