my dad put this system in my step moms car. he put a audiobahn alum 12, and a legacy 600 watt amp and it worked at first but it shut off like every other min then finnaly it just stayed off for a while ... the r/m wire was cut i half but it was hooked back up and taped ui checked it was all good, but i looked at the gain and it was down so idk why its doin that so give some info plz so i can fix it for her..its not going into protect
