i need to know what will be louder, and hit harder, to put up against a friends system.
2 12" r's with 400w each (sealed) 2 12" w3's with 400w each (ported) 2 12" arsenals with about 900w each (sealed, maybe ported)
so what does everybody think? which setup will play louder and hit hardest? oh, my friend has 3 10" kicker comps (not the vr's) with about 300-400 each.
alex, have you heard the arsenals? i've only heard the assassins and they sounded good and thats what got me to order the arsenals for my new setup.
so does anyone else agree? does anyone think arsenals hit harder than type r's? just need to know before i put up the $ on a bet to my friend. if anyone thats heard them all just help with this: 1)plays louder? 2)hits harder? (say if given all same wrms to each) 3)overall better woofer?
the 2 arsenals will kill the arsenals. now if given the same amount of power itd be a toss up, but the arsenal is a better product IMO. definetly do the 2 arsenals with 900 each. i had an avalanche and if the arsenals are as good or better, then you'll be very happy.
would a 15" arsenal do really good in spl compared to 2 12" sw6 eclipse's(250 watt each)? The eclipse is relly comparable to a cvr kicker. NObody has answered this so please help me out.
a 15 inch arsenal properly power and in a good ported enclosure can be very impressive. i had a single 15 avalanche that hit harder than 4 12 CVRs. but the kid didnt knwo what he was doing. but still 4 12s against 15...
