Gold Member Username: CenusHicksville, Ohio Usa Post Number: 1510 Registered: Jan-05 | the mofo is an ok spl sub, not the best by any means but ok, they just need A LOT of power to get loud, they have a HIGH faliure rate though, which is why most ppl don't like them, haven't heard anything about their sq so, and the xxx is a proven SQL sub, almost every1 will say its one of the best, so i would say the mofo may be louder but i gurantee that the xxx will have better sq. |

There is no comparison whatsoever, and I can't even see why even the dumbest person would think the mofo is better. Even if you were a complete moron you would at least think "well the XXX is 2000 watts, and the Mofo is 1200 watts , so the XXX is better". The fact is, there is a huge difference. RE came out with that just to compete with the W7 that's why the price tag is so high. But any real intelligent person looking to spend a lot of money on a kick butt sytem that would blow W7's out of the water would have XXX's in the back. |

The mofo couldn't hold a candle to a XXX but you're comparing a $650 RE sub to a $150 power craptastik. yes the mofo is a loud sub. the SQ fails miserably though. Even the old XXX was far superior to the mofo, and yes I've handled countless numbers of both subs. your friend shouldn't assume anything without some basis for his opinions. You surely know the old proverb about arguing with a fool, though. |

It does get very loud but the Sq is just horrible. It jsut mixes everything together and produces an extremely loud sound. Some people are into that though. So far it has lasted about 2 months with hard pounding each day for a few hours. Works jsut as good as the day my friend put it in. But the old and new XXX subs would surely kick its butt! |
