-1 15inch type-R

why did you only put one Mag 12 in there. Size alone would go to the 15s for the most part. The Mag maybe would be close to the SE or Type R. I would say one 15 Mag and call it a day.

i kinda hate to say it...but 2 type-r 12's "should" be the loudest if they were put in the right box due to pure displacment.

i would still go w/ either the SSi or the SX15 though :-)

Marshall - so from what u heard in real life , 2 ported Rs beat a single 15" SX ported ?????

& if yes what vol would u build a ported box for a single R ?

Specsheet has gross internal vol 0.75 to 1.7cuft .....

Rovin,

it all depends on the car and what its res freq is.

for SPL installs, smaller boxes tend to like higher freq....larger boxes like lower. (usually...it depends on alot of factors)

1 12" type-r daily...i would go w/ 1.5-.7cuft w/ a 4" flared port. (34hz tuning)

Marshall

Cool man

what about in my situation ? https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/car-audio/189456.html

its just a box i had from b4 but it around 35hz 3" pvc ported . I dunno - might go sealed too just 2 see how they would perform . Thinking also about a more powerful amp cause i feel these can handle it .......

Yeh B

i mean i got my vol knob on my 860 on 35/40 with some songs sometimes & i feel like it can take some more vol still .

HMmmmm - my bro has a Power Acoustik A2100D just sitting right here & i'm thinking 2 try it out on my Rs . Its rated @ 2100wrms @ 1ohm but i'm thinking realistically it'll put out around 14/1500wrms so i might try it wk end ......

Do that, Im sure you will be happy. Those should take 1500 easy. Let us know how it works out!

Hey I know that feeling when it gets loud, but just to a certain point/level. Then the louder you go on the HU the output stays about the same?
^^^ MORE AMP POWER!

Crx box is simple;
Fire the subs facing upwards...
Fire the ports facing backwards...

yep...CRX boxes a pretty simple.

if you want to go for spl, try to use external aero-ports.
