Hey guys, been chatting with Justin about Rainbow's pricing. Just wondering how all the components compare up to Alpine Type-R's and some of the mid to high MB Quart stuff. I'm tired of blowing components...

SLC 230 - 250 - 200
SL 130 - 165 - 145
SLX 230 - 180 - 160
SLX 230 Deluxe - 200 - 175
KX 130 - 100 - 90
(all 5.25")

Vanadium Series :
8" - 359 - 269
10" - 489 - 369
12" - 499 - 389

Profi Series :
8" - 349 - 259
10" - 479 - 359
12" - 489 - 379

Thanks guys!

alpine type R and MBQ are harsher than the rainbows. very different sound.
the rainbow speakers are more like dynaudio. very smooth and clear without the stiff overly aggressive treble you see in the more common speakers like mbq, alpine, infinity, and focal.

So not really for an SPL setup like mine? More for my work car with a small sub, I'd assume. Or for setups with no sub...

Hmm... maybe I'll get a set for the wife... She has two 15" RF T2's full power, but never uses them. And I think she has some nice MB Quarts... Maybe I'll get some Rainbows and put those 15s to use...
