HOW do I make my SUBS HIT HARDER???

im new to car audio n all tha technical stuff so im here asking my questions..
my setup is:
--alpine headunit, not sure model, but wuz 120$ bought a few months ago
--audiobahn subs 2 15in not sure model.
--normal carpetted box that has 2 vent holes inbetween tha subs (diameter 2 3/4in go down into tha box 7 1/2in) dimension of box is 36 1/4 in long, 13 1/2 in tall, 16 1/4 in wide
--BOSS 3000w, 1 OHM stable, CLASS D, MONO, block AMP

i would like to know how to make this setup hit harder, with out having to turn tha volume realy high.
-what is parrelleling? how do u do it?
-what is bridgeing? how do u do it?
-which would make my subs hit harder?
-i also herd sumthing about mounting one sub facing north and one sub facing south, does this really do ne thing how would i do it?
-and i herd sumthin about puttin a foam or sumthin in side tha box or sumthin like that to make them hit harder.

There are 2 simple things you can do to make your subs hit harder. First get rid of that BOSS amp and get a better quality amplifier. Second thing you can do is Dynamat the area where the subs are located. This will eliminate outside noise and rattles so you can hear and feel more of the BASS from your subs. I hope this helps.

third thing is get rid of the audioblah subs and get good subs, too.
better amp, better subs.

ok, thanks for your help every body, but what would u guys sujest i buy to replace what i have now (not to expsensive tho)? and how much do u think i could sell the system i have now?

try two Adire Shiva 12" subs ($125 each) of Tempest 15" subs. (not sure of price)

then go with a JBL BP1200.1 amp, or Kicker KX1200.1
that'd be 600wRMS per sub
