just a few questions, i have a 01 xtreme blazer and was looking at 2 W6's. I was wondering if a 500/1 amp is fine for these? and also would u recomened a ported or sealed box? any info is greatly appricated.
no. i would run 500/sub. so you are better off with a 1000/1 if u want a jl amp. regardless, give each one 500 watts. i like sealed. others claim to have good results from a properly tuned box. either way, grand subs with the right power/enclosure.
