Hey guys, I'm looking for a midbass speaker (8 inches) and they only requirements are that is has to have a mounting depth of 3" or less. No budget. Let me know of some of your ideas.
Ive been looking into cdt as a midbass myself besidess them the only other manfacturer of 8 in midbass drivers that if now of is kicker which one you get depends on how high a freq. you want the kicker I believe go up to about 400 i think But i know the cdts go up to 1khz so roll shouldnt be as bad at least thats what I would figure
3" depth will give you almost no bass. What you need to do is get a 1" spacer for your speaker. That way it's like getting 4" depth. Now you should have more choices/selections.
