Friday, May 27, 2005 - 03:55 GMT I have 2 Brand new kicker CVR. 12's, 4ohms. I bridged them for a 2ohm overall load. I have an audiobahn a8000t amp. It is steady up to 2 ohms. but when i read my ohms i am under 2 ohms. IT will play for about 20 minutes, then will start to cut in and out. Anyone know how to get exactly 2 ohms, or have any advice at all? Thanks

Saturday, May 28, 2005 - 00:21 GMT Then if they're wired parrallel, they're running at 1ohm. You need to wire each sub's DVC in series for a 8ohm load. You now have two 8ohm subs. Wire these two in parrallel. This will give you a 4ohm load. Unfortunately, you won't be able to use the 800w RMS that the 8000T puts out @ 2ohm. Your limited to 400w at 4ohm. You either need a second 8000T or a higher current/higher priced amp stable at 1ohm.
