Allright, i got around to thinking and watching movies and stuff wat can subs handle?? Like that movie of team toxic bass running 35hz test tones on their avalanches...is this bad for the subs? or is it because its within their parameters, that it can handle it? cause when im like playing my subs and the bass lines get complicated, i was just trying to find out if this is like real bad for them? or wat would constitute "blowing" a sub??
those subs can handle their ish. the only way to blow a decent sub is to overpower it in watts, by hooking up a much too powerfull amp. or to have the recommended rms amp hooked up, but it is cliping, giving out 2x the rated rms or something like that. another way is to run it for too long at peak output, overheating the magnet or something. idk about the too long deal, but cliping, and overpowering, yes.
