How many subs can be bridged off a mono amp?

...as many as the ohm load will allow the amp to run at....if you're bridging like say 3 subs and you get a 1.33 ohm load on a 2 ohm stable amp...your gonna have problems...as long as the powers there then go for it...

Although only multi channel amps can be "bridged" you can hook up as many as you want as long as the equivalent impedance(series and parallel combos) isn't less than the lowest impedance your amp is stable to. Wiring drivers in series is usually discouraged however.
