the amp u got is a goodun, pushes out over 400 rms bridges at 4ohm.
the sub can take more, but not too much more. think there 500 rms, - but not sure

now say i wanted to get another hx2 sub and keep my other stuff would i be better of gettin rid of the 250x2 amp or just get another amp for the other sub?
i'd say a kicker kx850.2 - what i'm having installed 2mrw!

i am having 2 rockford rfd2210 10 inch hx2's instoled right now and i am using the rockford p8002 amp that is puting round 800 watts to each sub i wold think your 12's cood handle mor than what i hav
