I heard Glass talk about the Alpine type R 12's. I am going more for SQ, but am looking for 2 10's. I noticed that there are type R 10s...are they good. amp suggestions would be awesome too.

I have Type R 12s, I think they are great! Great SQ and they bump when you want them to. I can never keep my mirrors adjusted and my radar detector bounces up and down and smacks against the windshield like crazy lol. I can also bounce sh!t on the roof of my car. I use the V12 amp but I hear that the Kickers, hifonics, and JBL amps are good too. WELL worth the 109 bucks you can get them for! $200.00 MSRP.
what sort of budget range are you looking in for the subs? for the amp?

for the subs, I would like to do 200 or a little less, and maybe a little more for the amp. Im not looking for the worlds best system, I just want a decent amount of good, clean bass

sorry, I am willing to go for a refurbished amp to save some money because my pockets arent endless. thanks for the advice
