Ight so I have a 1999 Honda accord stock nd I'm lookin to upgrade my audio by addin subs etc. Um I was lookin at kicker l7s and type rs but wasn't sure. My budget is around $1000 so if n e one can give me some suggestions on a total system upgrade tht would be very helpfull thnks
Okay, budget is good. Are you looking for SQ or SPL? How many watts are you looking to run? Stay away from Kickers if possible. There are better subs for about the same cost. Let us know these things and some of us will be able to help.
Well I'm lookin for a little if both of SQ and SPL I don't know how Many watts I guess ut depends on the subs but then again I'm really not that sure I am new to the audio stuff
Well I need a new HU and really just subs and an amp is wht I'm lookin for. If I was goin to get new speakers I would do tht later bc budget is sort of tight at the moment

um thanks but is Fi a good brand? i want the best bang for my buck, my dad always says cheap is exspensive in the end.... and i dont want these to not be worth it. I found a 15" mtx 9500 for a good price and either thinkin of that or 2 12" type-r's.Or a L7 but whts his name said kicker wasnt that great....i dont know
I'll pass on the MTX. I had a single 15" RE SE on my 94 accord. With a mmats 1600.2 amp and it was loud and clean. I was going to upgrade to a SX ported but sold my ride.
ight thnks. So now the thing is FI or RE bc u say RE is good and another said FI is also good....so what should i go for o plus i think i want a single big sub like a 15 or even 18 if i can get a big enough box to fit in my trunk

Thats a great price on those SE's. Very comparable to the Fi SSD (obviously). Maybe just a bit more on the SQ side IMO. And an AQ 1200D would be great for one of those.
if you are looking for a mix of sq and spl, that RE SE at that price would be really hard to beat.
