I currently have 2 12" Image dynamics id max subs wired at 1 ohm on a powerbass asa1500.1, they are in a custom built box, I can't rememeber the specs right now, they slam good and sound good, I was just seeing if you guys could think of 2 12's that'll be better for a mix of spl and music or maybe even a single 15, I also used to own a single 15" audioque hdc3 in a cust box that I really enjoyed...so if you guys think of anything let me know
No I can't really remember I just know I gave my buddy who builds boxes professionally the specs from image dynamics and he tuned it for high spl but still a good music tone, ya I'm thinking I get something like that or a AQ2200 or something like that
i have a 12" idmax powered off 1000wrms & though its sounds great INside my wagon it doesnt sound loud OUTside of it but i dont care about that since i care about in car sound , have mine in a sealed box which never fails to amaze any1 who hears it & cant believe that its sealed
if he used their 28hz ported recommendation then its not that loud but more SQ than loud - i tried that box last wk with mine so i know 1st hand ....
