Not exactly. Odyssey does have good batteries, and so does the other 5 companies that use the same battery. Kinetic makes some great batteries, but I would look into Power Master.

Power Master D2400 (best battery for the price range)

I'll be getting a yellow top for my next battery. One reason is I know someone with a yellow top and it preforms great. Another reason is because I like how they include both side posts for GM's and the regular posts. Makes life simple:-)

Odyssey all the way..... but whatever you get replace the yellow top so you're not mixing batteries.

Ether the odyssey or kenitik will absolutely destroy the yellow top though. Optimas the yellow in particular are to put it bluntly a pile of crap in comparsion.

" I'll be getting a yellow top for my next battery. "

You have fun with that..... a similat size odyssey or kenetik will own that battery, plain and simple.

Power master is still the best mentioned. lol

If you're going to get an odyssey, look into the other 5 brands that carry the same battery to see if you can get it any cheaper.

If you're looking to get the best battery for your dollar don't go with the Odyssey. If money isn't an issue then by all means run it.
