Hello all. I have been working on my new box for 3 days now, and I'm just now getting time to post a build log and pics for those who are interested.

Day 1:
Well, Canaan and me got most of the wood cut (ran out of MDF) and put some of it together.

Not too much covered this day lol.

Day 2:
On this day, Canaan and me finished cutting up the rest of the wood and built the ports and put the majority of the box together

The two ports are 49hz for SPL and 37hz for daily.
Got one of the baffles glued on :-)

Also got the second one glued on (just a pic of how much glue I put on it lol)

Day 3 (today):
Well today I got a little bit done.
The back of this box will be double walled so it will mount flush with my sheet of plexie. Today I cut the first hole for the plexie. I'm not the best with a jigsaw, but I think I done pretty well.

The pic below shows how the plexie will sit on top of the hole.

I also got the ports sanded down so they will fit into the box.

Here's the results by the end of the day after sanding the box completely:

Time to shower and go to the gf's house for the night.

Tomorrow I hope to get done cutting the second hole for the plexie and get the second back wall screwed and glued. Not much since it's New Years day. I'm far from finishing my new install lol.

It looks like it drops in the hole in the front and slides over the faceplate? Its pretty hard to tell from the pictures, I was wondering too.

Ok, Each port has a slot. You side the port in, then over towards the baffle. The baffle slides between the slot. It will be held in by T nuts. I'll post pics once I get to it.

I came up w/ this type of port design just messin around one day. I'm 95% sure no one else is using this type of interchangeable port...or at least I have not seen anyone using it.

9 bolts hold the ports in, 3 on each wing.

Alright guys. I got the hole cut for the second back baffle. Tomorrow I'm going to get some black vinyl. I think 5 yards will be able to cover it like I want to. $30 in vinyl ftl.

Yeh, hopefully after I get all of it in lol. I went job hunting today. no luck at all. You either have to be 18 to work, or they just aren't hiring.

Figured I would bump this up. I haven't got much of a chance to work on it lately. It's been wet and cold. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up the vinyl.
