both are the same dude if its a mono block.... it only have one channel.... but sometimes manufactures use the 4 output design juzz to help you out on messy wiring installations... u can also achieve the same thing by using both of the outputs from the corners like in picture 2 u can do it like that but take out the 2 in the middle and do the subwoofer wiring like the first picture... either 3 of these ways are ok as long as you are achieving a 4 ohm load
tip for you.....we used both terminals on our amp instead of one and gained 1.2 db or so....both ways gave us a 2 ohm load too....explain that one hehe
did you have a mono amp? if you had a 2 channel that sounds like it mite happen, but on a mono from what ive researched in the past week that shouldnt of. but if it does, great xD
