are you limited to only those 2 subs?

whats ur budget? im sure we over here can get you much better stuff all within your budget

also do you have amp/wiring etc?

and if you choose to give your budget...what are u looking for? sq (sound quality?) spl (Sound pressure level...basically how LOUD the sub is) or sql (best of both worlds of sq and spl).

Well, you're not going to hit much with a sh*tty amp. You really should consider saving money and getting a real setup. I understand your situation, because that is what I did as well. I regret it now. How much are you going to pay for those subs?

BTW..senior at Woodbury? I graduated from Maple Grove last year...lol

Yeah if you are limited to what they have at Worst Buy then definately get the Alpine Type-R SWR-1242D. But I have to say that their price on those is ridiculous. They have them for $225.99 when you can get the exact same woofer online for under $140.

So you're only paying $120 total? I would look at Phoenix Gold ZRs on ebay. Same price and better than both of those.

If you are 100% set on those, I would go with the Infinity. However, the Alpines would be the best bet at Best But if you must buy from there.

look at it from my point of view the two subs i have now were a joke to begin with.
they was 20 bucks each and they sound like crap anything from best buy will be better.

its pretty much these subs but not exactly.http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?MfrCode=RDM&MfrPartNumber=MSW150& CategoryCode=3083
anything would sound better

haha yeah I have seen those. But even so, why upgrade slightly when you can save a little more and have a kick a** system? It just seems like such a waste to buy things that are a slight upgrade. If you must buy from BB, go with Alpine first, then Infinity and Rockford.
