there was like 3 posts about those subs in here.. the dude its asking too much on woofers that had been reconed... and his recones sucked....

I don't see why value apparently goes DOWN on re-coned subwoofers. I would buy a reconed woofer over a used one ANY day. New soft parts, its basically a new woofer. Same magnet, same basket everything else is new. Magnet isn't affected AT ALL by how it is abused(power wise), same with the basket.

I think thats a great price for a 9912.

I don't think anyone here buys for looks, so why does it matter that he used more glue and he should have on the dust cap? It's more secure, maybe a very MINIMAL added weight onto the moving mass.
