a single fully loaded btl 15 can work well with that amp.

Massive Audio DMX 15 would pound HARD. A DD 9500 series sub would be nice too.

on the same power two 15s would be louder than 1 in most cases given the install is correct.. so for $600 I'd look into 2 15s unless space is limited..

btw guys.. he was looking for a pair to begin with

i don't know charlie. it would be a good match up. heard both at the comp and the ssx has better sq while the spl is about the same.

infact it was 2 dd9515 and he hit 149 cause his box was tuned for daily. the ssx sounded lower and cleaner and kept up in spl easily.

what type of vehicles and installs.. in the proper install 1 dd9515 will get louder than the ssx :-) .. two 9515 did a 153.6 on 12volts @ 46hz.. subs would not fit because of the ports so they had to invert the subs.. thats why the tuning went that low otherwise they would have been burping higher and put up better numbers

kevin i know they can hit harder than 149 in a higher tuned box. my point is the ssx sounded alot cleaner and lower than the dd9515 imo. my point is when it comes to those subs, you can't really say which is better. its all a matter of opionion cause they are both very solid subs.

i was talking with the guy that had the dd in his car. he told me he is able to get me a 9515 brand new reconed with kevlar cone for $550. good or bad deal. i am not familiar with the price. not that i am going to buy it.

ditto.. two Qs would get louder than 1 SSX .. they should sound better as well.. and ditto on the statement from meyers.. i posted that in the other thread. you need either 1 DVC 1 ohm 15.. or two DVC 2 ohm 15s..

chad a 9500 with a kevlar cone thats not right the 9900 comes with the kevlar and the 9500 has the reg paper cone and u use to be able to get the carbon fiber for it. but 550 is a okay price cause u could prob get it from dd brand new 600

I'm not sure.. never heard a Q in person.. the SX gets louder than the 05 XXX.. but the Q is suppose to be loudet than the 05 XXX as well.. I know the Qs will sound a lot better.. if you want to settle for 12s I know where to get a pair for RE SX 12"s for $400

the price is for brand new from a dealer charlie. he told me they can have the sub reconed with a kevlar cone. he paid $500 each for his subs from that dealer cause he knows them well. $550 is the price he can get for me.

get another Q and build a very good box, you can ask canaan, chad lee and of course kevin. They know a lot about competitions and boxes.

if the q's dont get that much louder than i will prolably go for the ssd's and get a zx1500.1 instead of a zx2500.1 and save some moeny
