yes, the poor mans way out. I have a set on my 3.5 dash speakers cause I kept popping the tweets. Its working so far.. Its a 2800 rating. It blocks the damaging bass. I would only use em on co-axils. Nothing beats a nice set of comps, with a proper crossover.
