if your looking for SPL i'd get a different box.. for on prefab boxes are normally not good not to mention that is sealed.. and possibility you could fit 1 15?

but if you want to go that route here are two RE SE 10s.. $318 + shipping

If you build your own box or have one built for you I'd definately go ported.. here are two RE SXs .. little over budget. $468 + shipping

Well, I was planning on getting a HD3 15...that is until I went and looked at the trunk space. Very Dissapointing. I'm pretty sure that a 15 will not fit in it's reccomended enclosure, that is why im looking for a pair of 12's now. I dont know any other route besides the prefab box b/c as you can see it would be a B@#ch to build...Im out of ideas!

So i guess Im just looking for a pair of 12's to put in a shitty prefab box....sigh

btw kevin...I have had no first had experience with any of the RE line, so I have no idea what I would be getting myself into with buying them. Can you tell me how the Se's compare to CVR's...and is there anything else better for the price?

SEs build quility to the CVRs are a lot better.. SQ they will dominate and SPL.. they would get louder.. you've limited yourself by going sealed especially with a prefab enclosure.. don't expect a great sub to sound great.. install/box is key for a great sounding setup.

go here to check out some videos of the REs..

Do you have any other ideas as far as a box goes then? I have built a few boxes, but nothing like the box that would fit perfect in that weird @ss shaped trunk.

if you can't build a regular square box then just take your time and figure out the angles.. use that prefab box as an idea and go from there.. either or get a quote for someone to build you a custom box. it would be worth the extra money.

most local car audio shops will..even the car toys does down here not that I'd recommend them. Marshall White builds boxes as well..

not all prefab boxes are bad, also is your mustang a convertable, and does it have a mach system in it, if so some of those boxes does not work.

what year stang? i had an 05 and they make boxs to fit that side above the wheel. you could base it off that and do 1 12 on each side ported because mine came with 2 10s
