i called the orion dealer and they want over 200 to fix my 1200d and i payed that to get it lol...so i think ima drop down to 1 12 for now with a new amp. then get a second amp to power my other one later..anyone have any ideas on a amp? to power 1 type-r?
try getting one amp for you type R dude, is much better, less wires around jeje. Plus for the money you spend on kicker, JL, you can get the Hifo i'm talking about and wire it at 1 ohm.
ya i have 2 4ohm dvc subs..had the orion 1200d pushing them and then it just quit one day so i fixed the fuses and rehocked power and it started to smoke..so i called and they want over 200 to fix but it still sels for about 500 it and i only payed 200 for it. so i dont think it would be worth it geting it fixed.what u all think?..anyways.. i am looking for higher end amps like orion kicker jl if i keep my subs..i was think i my sell my subs and drop to 2 12 400 rms subs..haven 2 500 drowns everything out and kills my alt..cant even turn it past vol 40 and that is with everything at the lowest setting. the bigest ho alt i can get for my car is 250 i think. adn it deeds liek a 350+ to run my car adn the subs.what do u all think? i should do?
