I have a Bose spare-tire subwoofer from a Nissan 2003 Murano. I would like to find out if I can use this on another vehicle with an aftermarket receiver.
If so, is this Bose-sub self powered or needs amplification? Second, does anybody know the wiring schematics to the Bose Sub to directly connect to afermarket system?
Thanks for your help!!!!

yes you can use it, no it doesnt need to be amplified but it would perform better if it was.

Thanks logan tille,

Can you "double-up" on a pre-amplified speaker? And do you happen to know the wiring schematics to the Bose system where I can connect the constant, ground, ignition, and trigger wires?

Much appreciated!!!

you have to look in your manual, or ask nissan. or look it up on the internet with the type of sub and the number it is.
