have all wires set up in car, to amp, battery, and cd player in correct postion. but when start up car the amp power ups then turns off. the amp is a sony xplod plz someone help me, tried so long to get it working just totally stuck??? this is my first time at trying to do this.

Were does the remote wire hook up to is it a wire on my wiring kit or is it on the head unit it self if someone could help it would be much appreciated
ELLIOT= IT KINDA SOUNDS AS IF YOU HAVE A GROUND PROBLEM. MAKE SURE THE GROUND IS TIGHT IN THE AMP, AND WHEREVER YOU RAN IT TO.
ANONYMOUS PERSON=THE REMOTE WIRE HOOKS UP FROM THE BLUE WIRE IN YOUR WIRING HARNESS (IF YOU PUT IN A NEW DECK)... IF NOT YOU CAN RUN IT FROM A FUSE THAT'S TO SOMETHING THAT ONLY WORKS WITH KEY ON)AFTER WHICH EVER ABOVE YOU WOULD THEN RUN THAT WIRE TO YOUR AMP INTO THE REM LOCATION.
