Firing subs at eachother

someone gave me the idea of placing two subs facing eachother.

would this be possible and sound decent??

i would have one box with the port on the ground and the sub on top, and one box with the port on top and the sub on the bottom so that the air wouldn't be firing at eachother.

it depends how close you have them to each other. if they are on opposite sides of a trunk it would be ok but if there only inches away it will sound bad. it will lower your SPL however.

you'll likely need to reverse the polarity so they don't xcl

there would be one sub on the passenger side facing the drivers side, and vise versa in the extended cab part of my truck. i'm not sure how much room they'll have between them just yet. how do i reverse the polarity mike?
