right now i have to 12" rockford P1's(8ohm), hooked up to a 800w pioneer amp(a.k.a. p.o.s). if i were to upgrade to P2's would it work still with the weak amp ive got or would it be essential to get a new amp. Or are P2's not even worth it.any suggestions would be great
how much would u like to spend & is it 1 12" that can fit your ride ?

well i plan on spending another $200 on subs and $200 on my amp, but i plan on buying both at different times. So if i were to buy the subs first should i just forget about even hooking them up to the 800w pioneer? if they were alpine type-r 12's.

i can fit 2 12's in my car real tight. i have 2 P1's now. sorry forgot to mention that.
type Rs are nice. they don't require a large cuft enclosure. they sound clean in a nice little sealed enclosure. 2 12" type Rs and a kx1200.1 amp sounds like they are made for each other.
