How many db does it take before you can feel the bass?

well...130dB is pretty much regarded as the "thresh hold of pain".

but as far as bass that REALLY hurts...140dB @35hz would get the job done :-)

idk if this answers your question or not, but my current setup of 2 12inch kicker comps in a ported box tuned to 37hz hits 127db legal on TL, and i can make my rear view mirror fall off playing a 40hz test tone.idk if thats what u call "feeling" the bass but it is pretty funny to watch.

depends on the car my camrys rear view is probily the hardest part of the car lol it would be the only part of my car not moving with my bass blowing
my friends ford escort has 2 10"s with a 500 (250 rms i think) mtx amp and it thumps a lil but his rear view falls off all the time
cant wait till a couple months im thinkin of a 18" mt and an orion 2500d

ya well the suv is pretty old 91 jeep cheroke, and the rear view mirror is just on this sliding thing so its not really glued to the window. and i have the comps not cvrs, pretty much the very bottom of the line subs. but i do have to admit that through all the h3ll i put these subs through they keep on playing.

Heh.. at about 152ish dB, at 47-48 hz, in a 99 firebird, my rear view mirror has like... a quick type vibrate to it...like a minor blur if you're looking at something behind you etc...

However, not nearly as loud, but at like 25 hZ, everything in my car feels like you're in an earthquake. You'll feel lower frequencies a LOT easier IMO.. Then again, it takes the same amount of power to play those lower frequncies at a lesser volume, than it does the higher ones at way louder.
