What would be a good amp to push 2 12" ID MAX's? prefferably around 800-900 watts per sub because I heard they can't really take the full 1000 watt RMS that is stated and I like to turn the music up loud.

If you like to turn it up loud, you'll want to have your amp be more powerful than the speakers so you can have the gains set correctly and not f*ck up the speakers with clipped signals.

not certain where you heard that, but in my experience it's false. i think someone might have suggested that they don't necessarily require 1000watts to effect xmax.
i'm not cetain as to your setup or your budget, but if you don't mind the relative inefficiency of class a/b amps, i would find a soundstream vga 1600.2 (i have 2 of them. one for each sub). they are no longer in production so good luck finding them.
also, you could strap one 800 watt amp to each sub.
here are options i would consider:

or (of course)

Well I am wanting to get the best equiptment possible so I am willing to save up for however long it takes, so a D class amp would be better, so I guess money is not problem then. I'm just trying to plan this all out so I know how much money I need to save up. So what would you recommend as the best possible D class amp for them?

the last one, ed nine1, is a d class. i won't use d class amps, but i would use this one. also, if you dont want to be concerned w/perhaps upgrading your electrical system, d class the best bet.

i'm sure others have verying opinions to offer

Just out of curiosity:
why would you not use other class D amps, mikechec9?
