ok here's wuts up, this guy at the store keeps trying to sell me a 12" 1000W type X to go with my mrd1005 1000w RMS amp, and i'm leaning towards to 12" type R's 500W since it will come to about the same price. why is he trying to sell me the type X so badly? is he trying to help or sell something that doesnt sell enough.
anyway i have a chevrolet tracker 4 door year 2000. he says the type R's will not sound good cuz they'll not be clear in a smaller SUV? i dont know i just want my system LOUD!! hehe but obviously the Type X has lower frequencies so it would sound good just what should i doooo>..
oh ya and if i get the Type R's whats better a custom box OR if u know if it a "RoxBox" (both ported).
