its 17.28 tall for the whole thing. k. THe main chamber is 20 inches deep and 40 inches wide, this is all internally by the way, the second smaller chamber is 17.28 tall, 20 back and 13.3 inches wide, internally of course, and the first chamber is 8 cubic feet and the second is 2.66, the link to the website showing the abc box said the main chamber has to be at least twice the sizr of the second, so is that right 2.66 and 8 AFTER DISPLACEMENT???? or what, cause i dont know the displacement of the TI, you prolly do lol, am i right???

your first chamber came out to 8.00 cf you want 5.33 cf. second chamber is 2.66 cf which is correct

finding the displacement of the subs is important and the displacement of the ports

needs to be a 66.666 percent 1st chamber after displacements and 33.333 percent 2nd chamber after displacements

so if the subs and port displacements in the first chamber were .60 then you would add .60 to the 5.33 cf target for the 1st chamber and do the same for the second chamber (ex. if the displacements for the second chamber were .10 then you would add .10 to 2.66 which is 2.76 cf)

Hey sean I would love a box built for my avalanche 12 when I get it:-) Chad said 1.5 tuned to about 28htz so thats what I have to work with at the moment. Also I just picked up a old Soundstream reference series 12 off of ebay:-):-):-) I have been looking for this sub in good condition for about 2 years now and I finally got one man I am so psyched to do something with it.
